Intensive Cyberattacks Against State Information Infrastructure Observed

Cyberattack activity targeting the state information infrastructure of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been recorded since approximately 22:00 on 13 October 2026.

The attack was carried out by a foreign hacker group, targeting more than 100 state domains associated with the state information infrastructure of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

As a result of the cyberattack, disruptions occurred in the operation of the internet information resources of several government agencies. Appropriate technical measures were implemented to mitigate the impact of the cyberattack and ensure the continued availability of the affected websites.

In view of the above, government bodies and institutions are advised to take appropriate measures to strengthen the security of their state internet information resources and network infrastructure, intensify monitoring activities, ensure the readiness of personnel responsible for information security, and enable a prompt response to potential cyber incidents.

The State Service continues to implement measures to ensure cybersecurity.
